1.5K three-stage GM ultra-low temperature cryocooler cold head is a high-performance closed-cycle cryogenic cooling core device evolved from the traditional two-stage GM refrigerator architecture. Through an innovative three-stage cascaded refrigeration design, it breaks through the lower temperature limit of conventional 4K-class two-stage cold heads. While retaining the advantages of traditional GM refrigerators—high stability, low maintenance, and helium-free closed-cycle operation—it significantly extends deep cryogenic performance, enabling a minimum achievable temperature of 1.5K. It is ideally suited for ultra-low temperature applications at and below 2K, providing stable refrigeration performance and effectively filling the performance gap of conventional commercial GM cold heads in the sub-2K temperature range.
